What should we put

in this corner?

a lamp, side table, plant(i lile the idea of a plant)

ideally would like to hide the plug sockets

I'm thinking something small enough that the door can easily move past if you open/shut the door. What room is it? A small cupboard? A chair? Artwork?

On a side note it that door part of a french door? If so, what is that door width please?!

It’s a conservatory, and yes i think so it is 1 metre

Extremely plain sheer curtains so the colours could be seen during the day whilst allowing privacy. Plus a second set of curtains for keeping the heat in.

‘‘Tis strange as you say! Tbh I don’t like the position of the tv at all and not fussed on the leds as they aren’t in keeping with the style of the room, the piece of carpet in front of the fire does nothing for it either, a rug, reposition the tv and a fire surround of some sort would look better as a start.

If there is a courtyard outside - then still I’d suggest replacing radiators with tall ones and then adding two steps right across the widest part of the under window - with space for plants or books on either sides of the steps and maybe a cushion for a window seat type effect perhaps ?

The floral pattern looks to have a vintage almost retro vibe about it. With a light and bright colour scheme I might look for something simple like a black and white print as mentioned or even a pencil drawing. Or how about some brass wall art or mirror? The yellow tones of brass would echo the yellow elsewhere in the room (one in pic is from Rockett st George). Or how about some ducks 🦆? Kind of thinking of the vintage flying ducks but came across a trio of budgies which I thought were really fun and I love the cute little duckling print☺️. Of course art is subjective and there Is a huge amount of choice so choose something that you love. Sites like Etsy and Not on the High St are great for artists work and Desinio has lots of simple prints.

Would you mind sharing a photo from further back so we can see the whole wall and so we can see the style of the room. Is that a tv unit and tv on the right? I do love lamps in every corner so either a floor lamp or a side table with a table lamp and a plant?

You need a more leafy plant than the one you've got (looks more like a Dracaena, not a bamboo).

One more of these would work beautifully and would catch the sunlight with a nice mirror above

A fuller plant would look great. I recently bought an Umbrella plant and it has doubled in size and is pretty easy to care for. I got mine from B&Q who sell really good quality houseplants.

What would you put in this corner ?
