My husband hates radiator covers...I love them
Comments (5)A meeting half way often saves a marriage. So, I propose leaving the covers off, but installing shelves above some, so that the items above detract from the radiators below. Also there are a number of skirting radiators (long and skinny) that can fit along the floor, so making this a no mess solution. There are also a number of amazing modernist styles that look like wall sculptures rather than radiators, so would look amazing displayed in the centre of the wall, rather than below and out of sight. These are options that instead of spending on a radiator cover, you may want to spend the same on replacing an ugly radiator with a more aesthetically pleasing one. There is something to be said about something that is ugly and gets covered. Why not chuck it out instead?...See MoreI hate this design how would you change it?
Comments (42)Wow some great advice here, sorry I have not responded for a while. So far I've decided to definately have a deep single bowl under mount sink, I will take the advice to hide the machines behind doors. Also I am going to have the stacking kit as the folding board will give me additional useable space. I don't know if the cupboards in the middle will make the space look heavy? at 5"11" I fear I might be constantly bumping my head against it. My kitchen cabinets are pale cream from Howdens, do you think it would look odd if I have the utility cupboards a light grey with a bold tiled backsplash? Thank you all for showing my your utility rooms really appreciate your advice all your advice and would really like to see some more pics of your space saving ideas and how you made your utility rooms more functional. Did not imagine such a small space would give me so many considerations on how to get the space right....See MoreI hate my new carpet..
Comments (2)Mmmm, no I think you'll have to adjust. I guess the lights in the showroom were really bright that made it look lighter. Can you improve your lighting, stronger bulbs or Change from warm white to cool white? Get another lamp or 2?...See MoreI need help to find someone to make a bookcase under the stair case. I
