Encountered problems running cables behind wall

Hi all
i am trying to run an hdmi cable behind a wall to neaten things up. i have cut holes in the wall for sockets but when feeding the cable through found a horizontal stud (green line in the picture) blocking the path about halfway between the holes which are about 1.5m apart. what is the best way to drill a big enough hole to feed the cable through, i have seen the flex bits but none seem to be big enough to get an hdmi through.
