Bedroom window nook styling

Hey all, how would you style this bedroom nook? I did have a g plan fresco dresser but it just became a dumping ground and blocked out a bit of light as it was dark wood.

I was thinking a chair or something, would like some sort of storage/drawers?

Could be a lovely cosy spot as nice and warm with the radiator there. Lots of light too with the window. You could possibly fit in some sort of storage ottomam that doubles up as seating. If it were me though I’d probably go for a squidgy armchair and depending what you like to do to relax I’m thinking storage or a little library, nice lamp for soft lighting.

What a stunning space, it could well become your favourite space in the room. How about a minimal dressing table in a neutral white/taupe with mirror and drawers, and a chair. A piece of art on the wall could elevate the decor.

A rug with a pattern or texture under the bed might help make more of a feature of it against the wood floor - like a picture frame.

I have decided that shutters/venetian blinds make rooms darker, gather dust and are fairly 'heavy' to look at, so, not for me. All others options are quite ok according to the situation of the property and personal taste. However, if you yourself like shutters or venetian blinds, then they are ok too, just don't expect me to have them. All boils down to he/she who pays the piper calls the tune.

Still here! I have a feeling the back of the wardrobes will need to be solid for the wall paper to work, to give you a solid backdrop. Maybe thin ply wood fitted to the back. In one photo your bed shows up beautifully against the blue, however if there were too many lines - the bed, the cross sections of the wardrobe - it won't work well. The drapes would also show up better with the dark backdrop. Maybe try it out with painted large sections of card, stuck together to give a solid field, painted a dark blue before investing in the wall paper? Seeing the pic above gives me confidence that the dark 'feature' wall behind the bed is the way to go to give your room a focus. If you put a backing on the wardrobe, you may just be inclined to paint - which would give the option to change your accent more readily.

Hi honeypoppet, the greyish navy in the second picture could work as my son isn’t keen on white or neutrals and would work well with the ski theme (pictures of mountains, snow etc). Only concern would be the ‘corridor’ into the room may be very dark but will get some tester pots in those colours. Thanks!

An armchair in a very light style, maybe rattan there are some beautiful ones available now. Storage in front is going to trap radiator heat so I'd opt for shelves on either of the walls. Do you really need storage there? A small white chest of drawers at right angles to the window with a circular mirror above would add light as well as storage.

We have a built in window seat in our sitting room and there is a radiator behind so we added a hinged lid so we can let the heat out.
