Check out Cabelas. They have some nice bar stools very similar to these.

Hi, I suggest you move the mirrors up , at the level of the window because they are too low , with this you will create a hight of the room , the carpet it is a problem : 1: it keeps the dust in the house and 2: you can never have a clean room with it . I also suggest get some money put a wood floor and the radiator can be cut out , moved on the floor heating , then you can decide if you want or not to create a small place to sit at the window or the corner where your closet is a small table with a chair where you can rest and have also a make-up session . Move the curtains close to the level of the ceiling and try to find a fade coloured curtain that can create an accent in the room (just because you have a patter wall that does not mean everything in the house should have a patter as well) and i suggest a plant because it keeps the air clean even when you sleep . i can try to make you a design suggestion and see more of what i am writing you, but i will need some specific measurements of the room (height- distance from the wall to the window and to the corner and after to the door , i assume that is where the master-bedroom bath is . It all comes down to budget as always. The bigger the budge the more you can do. I would be really mindful of the fact, that if you change the facade, it would be better if you could change the windows. The wood cladding I agree would look fabulous, you could have the bottom a lovely grey to tone in. However, neither will look good with bog standard white windows, as both look better with a dark grey, thinner Aluminium Frame or a Chunkier Sandy Beige Frame. When you add white windows, the effect is not quite so slick The pic above shows the white windows with the cladding and it would look a lot better with the darker, thinner frames. If you can't afford to change or colour bond the windows, then maybe go for all over colour, a dark grey would be good, and consider changing the Front door for impact. Alternatively, work towards doing the ultimate change. The vertical wood cladding, with a grey underneath and a door to match the wood. Thinner dark pewter aluminium framed windows etc. sorry about the mock up quality!

Right. You can't change the floor so now it's all about light. If you research it properly and get some professional guidance, some lighting on top of your units would introduce the light you feel you need. I would go for a system that can produce an accurate daylight light temperature for daylight hours and a warmer temperature for evenings. But really put the effort into getting this right as will define the space. It wants to feel like you have a window up there. It's a great space and very similar to a design we've been playing with. Congratulations on your new home. Is this the estate agent photo or is this your furniture? It would be useful to know that to see what you are working with or whether you're purchasing new furniture. Also, how many people do you need seating for and do you intend to have a TV in the too? It would also be useful to see a photo of the other end of the room and get an idea of what kind of colours and styles you like. Are you want to stay traditional or would you like to give the space a more contemporary look?
