Need help for height measurement of kitchen cabinets.
Comments (9)Starter molding is a flat piece of wood that is usually 3 or 6" high and you can mount other moldings to the face of. Like Sequins, I'd suggest you work with a professional. It's our job to come in, take measurements, and give you drawings of what you're looking for. You may find that with such high ceilings, your wall cabinets end up looking too heavy or the kitchen costing thousands more than you were expecting. You would also need to consider how you're going to reach them. One solution would be installing a rolling ladder. If you decide to leave the space open above, placing lighting above them is a great alternative....See More1500mm wide x 650mm height bathroom mirror
Comments (5)Many thanks Dale Loth Architects. Any idea who sells reputable demister pads and the size we should get? Quite a few sell them on line but keen to get a good one. Sorry dumb question but how do I get foil backing onto the mirror back? Is this something a glass/mirror cutter provides/can do? And how would you suggest we attach to glass tiles. I understand there needs to be space between the tiles and the mirror. Would you suggest a frame say 1000mm x500mm with demister pad inside? That's what we were thinking. Again any suggestions from any Professionals much appreciated....See MoreHelp! How do we light our double height kitchen/ dining snug area plea
Comments (11)Hi Hansbans73 Your project in the visuals looks amazing and I’m very jealous! I feel that the double height roof space and pitch definitely merits having a feature pendant, as it appears the pitch is central and so will offer a complete feel to the space. Downlights in the high ceiling will make the space feel too open in my opinion and, ideally, you want something that’ll sew each of the spaces together. If you could build a platform on the pitch to take a pendant, and you like contemporary styles, I would consider something like the Harco Loor Big Bubbles pendant (top photo below). It would fill the space nicely but wouldn’t obstruct your awesome view from the balcony, as you can see through it. Of course, decoration is subject to taste and there are plenty of other options - multiple pendants like the Muuto E27 pendants (bottom photo below) can be hung at varying heights and don’t cost the earth. Finally, adding in some 5amp sockets for complimentary table lamps and floor lamps will give your living space versatility. I hope this helps and look forward to seeing the final pictures! Comments (1)Hi N K hope the move is going well and you are enjoying the new home. what you can do to combat this issue of off-centering is use a simple hook and grip to loop the cable over from the outlet so that you get a centre hang. Please see image below. There isnt an exact science to hanging heights as everyone is different, but you should try offering it up and seeing what works best for you so that you do not have to keep changing it for watching the tv. hope this helps...See MoreShahina
