In 2020, Build Magazine recognized Lasley Brahaney as Best Residential Design-Build Firm 2020- New Jersey for this farmhouse transformation! The final renovation, pictured here, was a two-part project designed to meet the needs of a growing family. The first part of the renovation connected a stone outbuilding to the main farmhouse via a 20’ breezeway/mudroom. The single room stone outbuilding was converted into a charming girls suite (bedroom and bath). Two years later the second renovation transformed the kitchen from the original farmhouse layout into a bright and modern space for the whole family to gather. The black grid doors really transform the space flooding the kitchen with light and bringing the outdoors in.
