Restored Eating Club in Princeton, NJ

This David Adler home was formerly a Princeton Eating Club and was moved to its current location in the early 1900's. Our Princeton architects designed this front porch addition to restore the home to its original grandeur while also adding a second floor master bath and separate entrance hall.

Restored Eating Club
Our Princeton design build team designed and rebuilt this three car garage to suit the traditional style of the home. A living space was also include above the garage.

The porch was added as an element to join the indoor and outdoor spaces giving the back of the house, overlooking the pool, a much more attractive look.

The Tuscan columns, bead board ceiling, and privacy screening, give this spacious porch a finished, stately look.

This elegant entrance hall was added to restore the front exterior to its original grandeur and the addition of a master bath on the second floor above.
Entry Hallway
The removal of an existing dark hallway opened this stately room to guests immediately upon entering from the new entrance hall. The fireplace and staircase were restored and moulding matched and repaired.

The staircase with its wainscot moldings was completely refurbished.
Front Staircase
Several small spaces that had been a service kitchen, butler’s pantry and mud room, were transformed into an expansive modern kitchen for a large, growing family. The carrara marble and black soapstone countertops encircle this simple, classic, elegant kitchen.

The farmhouse sink and black soapstone countertops are the perfect complements to this all white kitchen.

The range hood is beautifully hidden within custom recessed cabinetry surrounded by white subway tile and white bead board layered surfaces.

Elegant built-in china cabinets with both recessed panel and glass doors. The carrara marble countertop is a subtle connection.

The vanity space serves as a transition to the alcove featuring the white oval clawfoot tub. The white marble floors with black outline define the rooms.
