In the fall of 2012, Superstorm Sandy decimated the Jersey shore with high winds and storm surge. Our client lost a bungalow-style beach house. They chose to rebuild. Upon completion of the original home, the opportunity arose to purchase the lot directly next door. Hoping to create a seaside getaway for friends and family for years to come, the homeowner wished to add a garage, with storage space, and guest house to the newly enlarged property.
