We were called in to help with this challenging long and narrow room. The inset log wood burning stove had already been installed creating a potentially awkward layout. We decided the best way of tackling it was to create two distinctive seating areas, one around the fire, the other focused on the TV, not forgetting the beautiful garden views enjoyed from both areas. A 'griege' scheme was selected using luxurious coordinating fabrics creating a restful palette with just a 'pop' of dusky purple to 'advance' one of the end walls.
