The brief for this project was architectural simplicity, light and elegance. The ground floor of this Victorian terraced house was opened up and extended to create a wonderful sense of space throughout the house from back to front with the eye being drawn through the property to the garden beyond.

We used a very light and airy base palette of pale greys and whites, punctuated by simple architectural detailing and lighting along with the stunning scandinavian wide planked limed flooboards to enhance this feeling of light and space. The kitchen and joinery was minimal, contemporary and white so as not to clutter the feel of the ground floor and simple accents were created by the lighting, fabrics, artwork & accessories.
