Sim, Raj and their family came to us looking for a modern kitchen with the wow factor! A colour scheme with bold touches and high contrast were key along with lighting layers and features. Their new kitchen needed to be vastly more functional than their existing kitchen packed full of easy access units whilst being a social space for large gatherings.

With older children and wide variety in tastes it is not unusual for multiple meals to be cooked at the same time by different people. It would be imperative that there would be plenty of space for this to happen simultaneously.

We achieved this by incorporating excellent storage through out with easy access drawers at lower level where ever possible. To keep the lines of this space clean we recommended a hidden entrance through to their spice kitchen. This has allowed us to fully box in the bank of tall units without having a break midway through.

We guided Sim & Raj to the popular, yet relatively neutral light grey with indigo blue. Then introduced the gold features through the plinths, finger rails, Quooker tap and feature quartz from Cambria. This tasteful space truly hits the brief for WOW factor, practicalities and sociability.
