This kitchen project takes a typical sized kitchen for a modern 4 bed house and shows you how you can transform your poorly designed builders kitchen into a beautiful contemporary space.

This transformation has had some of the services relocated but has been created in exactly the same space. The before photo in this album shows how sparse, dark and dysfunctional this space was. The Gardners' had lived with this space for nearly 15 years but just couldn't put up with it any longer.

They craved a drastic change in its appearance and the practicality. The had always felt as if they had no space to work and always on top of each other. With this new layout they have been able to enjoy working together as a family. This new kitchen has meant that they now cook together, are not segregated from family time and added a real value to their time together.
