Our brief was a to carry out contemporary makeover with stylish glazing and new outdoor space.

The two-storey aluminium glazed extension replaces a very badly conceived and unattractive upvc conservatory style structure. We also added a pitched roof capped with lead detailing to replace the former flat roof. The dangerous steps were replaced with a level terrace and safer access to the garden.

Horizontal weatherboarding was chosen to keep an up-to-date marine theme with low-maintenance. Modern frameless glass panel balustrading gives a lightweight minimalist finish to the cantilevered balcony and terrace below. A perfect location for gazing at the far reaching panoramic views and enjoying a coffee or a cocktail!
