Small contemporary garden design for clients who desired a streamlined but quirky space to relax in. The client's have a love of foliage plants and the aspect was shaded so shade tolerant plants with interesting contrasting foliage such as Hostas, Hakonechloa and Bamboos were chosen.
Railway sleepers were used vertically to screen the shed and create level changes with raised beds.
Sawn sandstone paving was cut into planks to follow the lines from the vertical sleeper wall and existing timber fencing was painted grey.
