warDROBE is a conceptual project exploring spatial conditions and aesthetic qualities using computation design techniques. The wall is a unique design comprising a hidden, fitted wardrobe, which is accessed through opening panels. These panels are flush to the rest of the wall when closed, creating a continual surface. The smooth, undulating surface would be fabricated using Corian, an acrylic polymer and alumina trihydrate (ATH) composite material. The versatile nature of Corian makes it extremely suitable for organic shapes, and thus a perfect choice for this project.
