She spent a day measuring my house and drew up existing plans and plans of possible ideas which we discussed and she further refined my preferred option. She listened carefully to my wishes and patiently answered my questions (there were many as I’d never done anything like this before!) Her vision was amazing and what she came up with is brilliant - so much better than I’d ever thought possible. She has transformed my home from a 3 bedroom house (2 doubles and a box room) to one with 4 double bedrooms and character, and a large family space downstairs that’s great for entertaining too. The unusual shaped patio (pictured) also works really well, Many friends who have visited have commented on how well she’s used the existing space and transformed it. Kate also sorted out all the paperwork for planning permission and met the planner with me on site, which I have no doubt helped getting approval. And she advised on materials, e.g. for the cladding.
