“Reference: New Road, Woodmancote Vision Mill Architects assisted us with obtaining Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for changes made to Poplar Farm, a Grade II Listed property in Woodmancote. Poplar Farm is a detached farmhouse, which had obtained Planning Approval and Listed Building Consent as part of a larger redevelopment of the former farm. However, on purchasing the property, the layout did not suit our needs and we asked Vision Mill Architects to alter the layout accordingly. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent was obtained for these changes. Vision Mill Architects also assisted with the discharge of Planning and Listed Building Conditions and preparing Production Information for the project. This involved coordinating the drawings with the Structural Engineer to provide a full set of information to the contractor. In addition, Vision Mill Architects assisted Evolution Evolving in the preparation of a number of bids for Lypiatt House, a Grade II Listed building in Cheltenham and a vacant site on Shurdington Road in Shurdington.”

“Ant helped us to bring all of our ideas to life for our side return extension in Bristol. We wanted to reconfigure the downstairs of our mid terrace victorian property to include a modern, minimalist open plan kitchen and diner with plenty of light, efficient storage options to hide away our family clutter, a big dining area and for the inside to continue to the outside via bi-fold doors and consistent tiles. Throughout the planning process, Ant has gone over and above expectations to walk us through what needs to happen when, provided very clear information and been readily available on video/calls/emails whenever we have any questions. We’ve been in frequent communication to work through each of the stages efficiently too. He has also communicated directly with our appointed builder, and has introduced us to a QS and other contacts which has been a huge help. Ant shared a number of design options to bring our ideas to life, as well as helping us with details such as external tiling, roof options, glass and timber. Highly professional and creative architect that understood our brief but delivered plans that exceeded our expectations and very pleasantly surprised our builders.”
