“I am very pleased with the design and building prints developed by Cornerstone . I sketched my thoughts on a paper and Darryl was able to translate it into floor plans for our new home which is a post and beam frame with bailed straw forming the outer walls. Darryl was able to accommodate my unusual requests for a straw bail build and the forty five degree pitch on the roof to support solar panels . If I were to build again I would not hesitate to use his services again.”

“We engaged Lindy Consulting to provide some plans to renovate the 3rd floor of our house which was an unused portion of our house which contained two bedrooms and which we were using as additional storage space. Our plan was to move our master bedroom to this space and add a full washroom. We met with Steven and Annette to discuss our ideas and how we envisaged the space and our estimated budget. They came back to us the following week with some preliminary sketches that impressed us. We then gave them the mandate to prepare full drawings and once approved by us, they managed the project from completing the drawings, getting them approved, and seeing the project through to completion. We were quite hands-on in the decision making but they truly took ownership of the project and had our best interests in mind throughout. Although we ended up spending more than we budgeted (which was as a result of our decision to upgrade bathroom appliances, flooring etc.), we are really pleased with the final result.”

“We highly recommend Cadaxx. We hired Cadaxx to complete drawings and acquire building permits for our full house renovation and addition. The scope of work included architectural designs and basic interior designs. Over the course of the project we made many revisions, many re-submissions for building permits, and required various engineering letters/stamps. Cadaxx was very knowledgeable about building & zoning codes, and we benefitted from the their strong relationship with the city. They worked very quickly, listened well to our feedback. 3D renderings at key points helped us visualize our decisions. Cadaxx worked very well with our consultant, and other suppliers like engineers, HVAC designer, interior designer, and builder.”

“We retained James to help with the total renovation of our tired and low quality loft unit. Without hesitation, he attended the loft space, discussed our ideas as well as provided some initial feedback. He went back several times to measure up and also explore the space, where the light was best, the best placement of the bedroom and how we would most enjoy and use the living room. He developed a floor plan, sought board approval and helped us hire our first contractor. He also helped us pick out all the interior finishes. The result is a light filled open modern space with room to grow. Thank you James!”
