“We used Place for an addition to our home. Laurie spent a lot of time listening to what our needs were and then came up with 3 designs incorporating those ideas. What we got exceeded our imaginations. Not only does the addition look like it was always there, we got everything we wanted within our budget.”

“Michael Dolce provided us with plans for a home addition with a deck that exceeded our expectations and provided best cost options. I feel his experience gave us options that we had not considered. He listened to our wish list and designed the addition including all of the little details that I wasn't sure would be possible. He allowed for the addition to take place in several phases as our budget would allow. Mr. Dolce was professional, efficient, and paid attention to our requests.”

“First and foremost, Sarah is an amazing architect and can design anything. She is versatile with build styles and designs - from modern to farmhouse, you name it. If you're looking for someone to care deeply about the details and work with you throughout the entire process, she is your person! I highly recommend Sarah for any sort of design work - no project is too big or small. Her communication and professionalism is top notch and her drawings are beautiful.”

“Tina and Doug McCoach are a great team of architects. They do wonderful work, particularly in historic districts where sensitivity to designing new and compatible building elements is critical. They are also very quick to see creative solutions to problems with existing flow patterns that are critical in liveable design. I would recommend them highly.”

“The architects at Penza Bailey designed our dream house! They took the time to listen to how we lived and what we were looking for, were sensitive to the land, and stayed within budget. We recommend them most highly!”

“I am working on a 1920's deco building in Historical Fells Point, Md. My luck of finding the right people to work with has not been very good due to the fact of not having an Architect. Since I hired John, the project has once again continued and I can see the finished line. He is such a pleasure to work with and has a wonderful style, personally and in his designs. He is extremely creative, working the old into the new. A great example is his personal home/office, an old boiler building. Most important, we work as a team which makes this once again a pleasurable.”

“On our first introduction, Revital said to me that she'll build for me just one wall which will provide me with 4 bedrooms and I couldn't see how that's possible, yet it happened! Another thing that happened is that up till today, 20 years later, everyone who stepped into our home is convinced that we just completed its renovation. It took me years of living in our totally remodeled family home, to fully grasp the scope of Revital's vision, thinking and designing. There were things that I wasn't able to see back then, when we, my husband and I, he's a business owner and me a CFO, bought a tunnel shaped mid triplex home in Jerusalem Israel for a great deal. Then, we thought the only problem was the main entrance door to the house which was beaten by the elements and the dull open space it led to. We consulted with a trusted contractor who introduced us to Revital. When she saw the place, she mentioned that she would've done 'something' with the staircase. Little did we know that this something was a key factor for the total upgrade + 60% increase in its market value. She surveyed us thoroughly for our needs as individuals and a family and followed them to the tee; so much so, that often I wasn't able to recognize that this is what I was asking for. There were a few elements in her plans that I strongly disagreed with, only to realize Years later, that she was totally right about them. Revital is genuine; out of the box; orthogonal and lateral, 3D viewer and thinker. Working with her was an unforgettable and vivid experience for us. Apparently, It wasn't only the stretch of our budget, but mainly the stretch of our imagination which was our main challenge. I literally had to sleep on her ideas to wake up with the clarity that Yes, she was right and go with it. For example: When I couldn't grasp why she was adamant on lowering the kitchen window, her answer stayed with me up until today; she said: Instead of watching your neighbor's window, you'd rather view the flowers in your own garden. The house is tailored made for us, each kid got their space while still connected; my husband got his supervisor's view over the stairs; hosting room; spacious fun kitchen that I enjoy as is, up until this day. We started with 3 kids and a baby on her way and today with 5 grandkids and still growing, the house doesn't stop serving us and never disappoint us. Working with Revital is exciting in ways that I didn't see the like of and with it, being patient with yourself will enable you the space you need to see through her vision and long view for your dreams. It wasn't only us, but the entire construction team and other independent contractors who were over the moon with the results of our project as well. They constantly learned from Revital to work in ways they never experienced before. Give it a go and see for yourself. As my best choice was to hire Revital; I'd definitely repeat the entire experience once again! S. Nahmias. Jerusalem, Israel”

“We discovered Laura Thomas of MelvilleThomas by seeing the great range of work & styles profiled on Houzz.com. We were so pleased to learn she was located nearby & understood the area when generating designs. Laura is an incredibly creative architect(and we have worked with others far less so in the past) who was very responsive to our questions, comments, and timetable. She took the time to try to understand both our needs & limitations, as well as our schedule. Laura came up with not one, but two, well thought out conceptual designs for our project. She was helpful in suggesting contruction & real estate professionals to help us achieve/evaluate our various concerns. We found Laura's artistic bent to be very useful for us, as non-architect consumers, in visualizing her design ideas. A picture is worth 1000 words! While we ultimately chose not to build, we would not have been able to make an informed decision without Laura's assistance. We do have her lovely conceptual drawings should we(or a future buyer) wish to go forward with the major addtion we had been contemplating in the future.”

“We have been very pleased working with Fernando Zuniga-Pflucker on two major renovations. Each time his original eye for space and design created a new and enjoyable home out of an old tired one. He listens and is flexible, and results have been outstanding. On the first occasion, we had a center hall colonial with the stairway and kitchen cramping the area just inside the front door. Fernando’s solution was to swing the stairway in the opposite direction (a solution that never crossed our minds), move the kitchen into a TV room in the rear of the house, and designed a new high ceiling, open space family room that was airy and comfortable. On the second occasion, we confronted him with a ranch-style home that had not been updated in 50 years. After crawling through attics and a closed-in second floor, his design removed walls and ceilings to create a vaulted-ceiling great room, a new dining room and library, and a modern staircase and balcony. He turned an old design into a modern and very enjoyable home to live in.”
