“After being disappointed with the first architect we appointed, we turned to A&M who designed us an amazing garden room extension that we able to use 12-months a year. A&M provided a professional design and build management service that took all the pressure and stress out of the build process, which we valued enormously. We would thoroughly recommend A&M.”

“Easy 5 star service from Adam and the team at Wilson architects. From the initial meet and greet, sit down discussions and through to receiving clear, easily read and ‘outside the box’ plans the process was quick and easy. Fairly priced and a great service I would definitely use again.”
Julie Richards Architecture & Design Ltd.

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars14 February 2018
“I appointed Julie Richards in January 2016 to carry out a complete refurbishment of the two bedroom 'Warner' style maisonette I own and rent out in Leyton, London. It was agreed the works should be completed by April at the latest, and this was achieved. The property had fallen into considerable disrepair during a lengthy tenancy of almost a decade, only fetching a low rent that reflected this state of affairs. In January 2016 the existing tenant moved out and I took this opportunity to bring the place into line with average rental prices for the area, which valuations indicated had risen a great deal since my original investment. Within a strict budget of 25k Julie's brief was, therefore, to strip the place out entirely and build it back up to a standard that would guarantee the financial return necessary to recoup the expense, whilst providing enduring value going forward. It was a given that the kitchen and bathroom would have to be completely replaced. Julie's choices were tasteful, economical and above all - with limited space - practical. All the existing decor had become too tired to be restored effectively, so Julie also designed and oversaw a complete redecoration. Of course scratching the surface brought ever greater issues: large areas of plastering coming away, and the apparent obsolescence of the electrical circuitry and aspects of the plumbing amongst them. She coped admirably with all of these things as they arose. She also showed an appreciative touch with some of the more 'period' features such as sash windows, sliding doors and wooden floorboards stripped, sanded and varnished to remarkable effect. (We never did get round to rehabilitating the bricked in hearth due to the narrow budgetary restraints, but the will was there!) The lighting design was also improved, adding to the overall feeling that my property had been transformed beyond recognition. Julie managed to incorporate these things into her scheme of work without - as I greatly feared - allowing timescale and budget to spiral out of control. She negotiated with a wide range of tradespeople directly herself, many of whom were her existing contacts. This was all a great relief to myself, having never embarked on a project of this scale before. I hope this helps, please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish to discuss anything further.”

Century Architects Ltd

“I would like to say how impressed I was with Jessica at Century Architects, I was nervous about working with an architect, I thought I would get railroaded in a direction I didn't want for our total home renovation. I couldn't have been more wrong, Jess was always aware of my budget and even though she made suggestions that I hadn't thought of, they were not too extravagant for us, she had vast knowledge of eco friendly options and we are so glad we took her suggestion on board. We now have a home that suits us, which we would not have achieved by ourselves, the work came within budget and we thank our lucky stars we found Jess, she understood our needs and how we wanted to change our space so it worked for our lifestyle. Jess was able to translate this into a stunning home for us. Thank you Jess!”

“Our full gable extension completely changed the look of the house, gave extra space and a huge Wow factor. Design features such as slit windows lifted it way out of the ordinary. Supervision of the builders was well worth investing in, as they delivered to quality and budget with minimal delay.”

“Dan at DRB Recently came to do a house measurement for me and to do everything I needed to have a supporting beam put into place. He has done as he promised at the time he said he would. “We contacted George and his team after being recommended his services for an extension, Boundary wall and replacement Glazed barn door at our home. Our property is grade II listed and also in a conservation area which obviously caused extra issues within itself. George is very approachable and with his expert eye for detail and knowledge of the industry all permissions were successfully obtained and works commenced. I would have no hesitation in using again and recommending George and his team for any future building and architectural design work projects irrespective of size or complexity.”
