“We had a great experience and Hagit guided us exactly through what the building inspector wanted. Hagit listened to what we wanted and then made suggestions about the things that are possible for our house. And when the builder looked at the plans and made his suggestions, Hagit made the effort to come out and take a look at the proposed changes and worked with our contractor to help us make the addition beautiful, functional and accommodate all the wishes that we had! She is profesional, personable, down-to-earth and dedicated architect! I would not dream of hiring anyone else!”

“Couture Design Associates was contracted to design a bungalow in the East Greenwich historic district, with the proviso that it appear as if it was built in 1910. JP Couture was creative with the limited space available for the project as well as the overall design. He took time to learn how we live, what we were seeking, and prepared an elegant design that included what we wanted and is perfect for our lifestyle. He participated in the entire process, from approvals to interior design, serving as a terrific negotiator, mediator, and advocate. We found it a pleasure to work with JP and all of the staff at Couture Design Associates, and would highly recommend them for any project!”

“I met with Shaughn this morning about designing dormers for my gambrel cape home. He had pulled a picture of our house from the town records and with a piece of tracing paper overlay, he came to my house with a sketch of what he thought would look right for the house. This without any obligation and nothing more than one phone call to set up the appointment. The sketch was fantastic. He was very personable and professional (he even took his shoes off when he came in the house - most contractors don't so that). No pushy sales talk at all. He seemed genuinely interested in the design and the look itself instead of just making a sale. He provided a few different ideas (along with what he thought things would end up costing us) and stuck around a bit to talk these through with us. He even gave me some structural ideas on a shed that I am building myself – nothing to do with why he was here. I hired him to draw up the plans after this initial meeting. I am very skeptical when it come to contractors and this is something I never do, but we were that impressed. This was only our first meeting but so far so good. “We worked with Purpose + Design to reimagine and transform our kitchen. Stephanie worked with us by developing several designs and options since we were removing a stairwell and walls to double the size of our kitchen. She came up with an amazing design and all the structural drawings our contractor needed to make the plan a reality. She worked with us throughout the process. We just celebrated the completion of the project by having dinner around our amazing new kitchen island. Stephanie is a very talented architect, a great listener and deeply committed to her clients. We are already starting to talk about our next project together - a new bathroom and laundry area. The photos below are before (green kitchen) and after (orange and blue kitchen).”
