“Our first "in the flesh" viewing of the Oakwrights Kenchester barn-style garage we purchased was at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed - we were amazed at how spacious it was and the quality of the build was clearly excellent. Our requirement was for the building to be constructed on a pre-arranged base. We were delighted when we initially sought a quotation from Oakwrights to find it undercut the nearest estimate we had by £4000! The whole process of erecting the frame and tiling took three men three days from start to finish, which was amazing. They were totally professional and courteous and kept us informed of progress throughout. The end result is fantastic and gets much admiration from visitors and friends alike.”
Daniel Jew Architect

“We have worked with Daniel before, and commissioned him for the complete design and implementation of our new home - a 280m2 single storey contemporary house in the middle of Cheltenham. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is a pleasure to work with and one of those rare breeds of architect who not only loves designing homes, but also thrives on building them too. He is seeing us through the complete project, and you always feel he is completely on top of any issue as it arises. He is proactive, always looking to find solutions to problems as they arise, he's approachable, always there when you need him and meticulously detailed. He has taken us through the whole process from early concept, into planning (which was quite tricky given our location and planning restrictions, and then on through the whole project management and implementation alongside external engineering and timber frame constructors, with whom he has had total responsibility through the process. This has been an innovative build, the entire house is built on ground screws since we are in amongst trees, Daniel has handled all of this and has been a massive support throughout. We could not have done this without him.”

“Anthony understood our brief from the beginning and gave us several options that made clever use of the space. He came up with some great ideas and the finished project has transformed our home- we are very happy. We only had a limited budget and Anthony helped to make sure we stayed within our budget, making suggestions that would save us money along the way. Anthony provided an excellent service with good communication at all times. We really enjoyed working with him and would highly recommend Co& Co Architects.”

“We had considered extending our house for several years due to our growing family but the layout made it difficult for us to envisage what was possible which actually put us off taking it further. Oliver was recommended to us and took the time to understand how we currently use our house and what we would like going forward. We wanted more open-plan family living but having an old-fashioned terrace with dark, box rooms, this seemed impossible. However, Oliver’s vision has transformed our house by adding a small extension and changing the layout to make the most of the space we have, it now feels like a much bigger, lighter and spacious house. Oliver was incredibly patient and professional, taking the time to explain every aspect to us as this was a new process for us. His plans offered various suggestions for us to review and choose which suited our personal tastes. We highly recommend Oliver as he was able to take our ideas forward into an achievable project and was very knowledgeable and personable.”

“Architect Garry Thomas provided an excellent service and did a great job designing our new house and getting it through the planning system. At the time he was working with another practice, and when he set up his own practice we had no hesitation to move with him as we were very happy with the services he provided. We would not have secured our planning permission without his determination, expertise and ability to present an overwhelming case to the planning department and planning committee. The end result exceeded our expectations. Garry always goes that extra mile to obtain the results required and expected of his clients. He is very easy to work with- very professional, creative and assisting of our needs. It has been a real pleasure working with him and we look forward to continuing to use Garry's services over the years to come.”

“Carolyn and I worked on many residential projects involving extensive renovations and additions. Our approach was always to work with the client's desire to upgrade an older property while maintaining the neighborhood character and scale. Sometimes this involved Craftsman detailing, sometimes a more traditional look. We also worked on the exterior renovation of an outdated 2 story office building which included a new restaurant.”
Elliott Pardington Architecture Ltd

“Elliott Pardington We had been looking at the Old School in Goodrich near to Ross-On-Wye for almost a year, the paperwork as always seemed to be taking for ever. As usual this was down to making certain that we had a clean title. We finally completed the October 2018. The school had been closed in 2000 and remained shut till a group of local builders purchased the school in 2008. They had plans passed by Herefordshire Council and work got underway. For whatever reasons work stopped in 2013 and the school was put on the market for sale in 2014. The prospect of converting the near two hundred-year-old school into four houses was something we were really excited about, so whilst the solicitors were getting the paperwork all set up, we wanted to find an architect with the skills needed to maintain the character and history of the building. The original builders had not used an architect to draw up the original plans but had used a structural engineer, quite frankly we had we were not given any working plans so it was a case of starting again. Looking back now we think ourselves as being very lucky to have been given the recommendation of Elliott Pardington. First impressions are very important, we knew from when we had our first site meeting with Elliott that we had been recommended to a first-class architect. What impressed us was how easy Elliott was to communicate with, he understood everything about current building method, what new materials were available to be used on our 200-year-old school. A building of this age had many issues that were needed to be overcome to make it into homes that were fit for the 21st century. As you would expect from any good architect the plans and detailing on the plans were perfect. Armed with a full set of plans our build got underway, our team of tradesmen and builders had detailed drawings on site, but if there was anything that they were unsure of or unclear about Elliott was always available at the end of a phone. It was nice to see him on site as well, as he popped in on occasions to see what progress we were making. The project was completed in November 2019. We have sold two of the four homes with another sale pending. We have all heard the expression “Planning and Preparation Prevent Poor Performance” and it is in no small part that Elliott Pardington provided us with a set of plans that made our project an outstanding success.
