“Our experience with Go plans has been excellent. They arranged a home visit at very short notice, listened to our suggestions and compiled the initial drawings relatively quickly. They also successfully handled the whole planning permission process for us and provided a very fast and professional response to the requests and changes requested by the planning officer. “We decided to award Home Architecture the design contract for a large rear extension we had planned for our 1930s house. The designed drawing by Mike had some design options that at the time we had not considered. With this open advice and forward thinking vision we approved modification for the final drawing sign off. Its now some eight years since we had the extension done and still very much appreciated the input we had from the architects. The rear extension in brief consisted of a approx 6m x 4m single story extension, with tiled roof , velux windows and Bi-fold doors across the rear to open up onto hard wood decking. I would recommend Home Architecture if you are considering building works small or large.”

“We wished to extend our house but it is a very unusual shape. We were looking for an Architect who could come up with a design for a 2 storey extension that maintained the character of the house but provided us with more usable living space. We chose Adapt because their initial design concept fulfilled all our requirements yet remained within our suggested budget. Although construction is not yet complete, our neighbours have commented on how much better the house looks. We are pleased at how much more space we will have when the work is complete and how the house will be far more suitable for us as we get older. Alan talked us through the whole process of Planning & Building Control approval & kept us fully informed during these processes. Additionally, he recommended suitable structural engineers and surveyors to assist us, and sent out tender documents to the various builders who were quoting for the work. Altogether, we were provided with an excellent service and would recommend this company without hesitation. We would recommend t”

“We employed Milton Architects to help us with a major (for us) project in transforming our rather quirky 1911 house. The project took c10 months and we made it more difficult for the architects and contractors by choosing to live in different corners of the house while work carried on around us. We are delighted with the end result. Mike Milton brought many innovative elements to the overall design and equal emphasis was placed on the practical considerations such as construction, plumbing, electrics and sourcing. The project incorporated constructional changes, renovations and improvements, two new extensions and a few demolitions. MA handled the project management very well, first through Mike and then his colleague Ros Leverett. The project - having allowed for the constraints and problems encountered along the way (asbestos, rotten timbers, crumbling foundations ...) was very close to the original budget and timescale, and the interactions with the construction company exemplary. So in conclusion we are very pleased to recommend Milton Architects highly and unreservedly for any project remotely similar to our own.”

“Tim designed the expansion and complete renovation of our house. Tim listened carefully to what we were looking for and came up with some fantastic plans. He turned our rather ugly house into a beautiful house, with lots of light and good use of space. Tim was also quick to make alterations to suit our budget when asked. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Tim and I would happily recommend him.”

“We have worked with LA Hally Architect from initial design stage, through planning control and are now close to completion of our double storey extension and internal refurbishment. We have been thoroughly impressed with Lesley, and also her team who are always fully briefed and able to deal with queries. LA Hally Architect came up with a design which strongly incorporated our key requirements, have responded efficiently to changes that we have made during the work, and have provided practical advice on all aspects of our project. We have been particularly impressed with the innovative ideas in relation to light and space that Lesley has brought to our project, yet at the same time she has kept our 'traditional and elegant' feel in mind. “I used Vesta Architects for a single storey rear extension and internal renovation. Not having had much experience in the construction industry I was not sure about how the process worked. Michael at Vesta we’re incredibly helpful in this regard. At the start of the process they explained the required steps and what would should be expected at each stage. The renovation work went very smoothly and I am very thankful for Vesta’s part in this. I would highly recommend to family and friends.”
