“James did a great job for us in our flat, replacing all the internal doors and installing associated door furniture etc - laying a v. complex parquet floor amazingly well and also levelling the joists underneath as well as installing extra insulation beneath the floor. He also built us two sets of floor to ceiling wardrobes which turned out brilliantly and he also built us alcove units and cupboards in our sitting room. James is great to deal with and his workmanship is top quality. We can't recommend him highly enough and will definitely use him again in the future.”

“I have used Robert on a number of occasions, in this case it was for the removal of a chimney breast. Robert is well presented, polite, professional and does a good job. He can handle difficult situations (in this case we we had a structural support issue requiring engineering after the start) and does so without the need to complain or charge a fortune for additional works. When minor issues arise after the works have been complete I have never had a problem with him coming back to address them. Frankly given some of the terrible experiences I have had with builders, I have not hesitation recommending Robert as a competent and reputable builder.”

“We are writing this review to highly recommend Fenlake Construction as a General Contractor. We hired Fenlake Construction to build our single storey rear kitchen extension which was was built to an excellent standard and exactly how we wanted. The initial project only consisted of the construction of a kitchen extension but due to us being very happy with the work being delivered we then asked Fenlake Construction to carry out the kitchen fit-out as well. Rob and his team were punctual and attended Site everyday. Rob's team was very friendly and stuck to all their commitments. Rob, project managed the whole project from start to finish and managed to resolve all unforeseen problems throughout the whole process with minimal time and cost impact. All other trades such as plumbing, electrics and plastering etc. were manged effectively with minimal disruption to our day to day activities in the house. We were extremely happy with the attention to detail and quality Rob and his team put in to their work and appreciated all the advice regarding design and choice of materials that was given to us throughout the construction process. The site was kept tidy and the project was delivered on time and on budget. “This project lasted 3-6months. The project consisted of converting a 2 floor rusty estate agent into a luxury restaurant and with Luxe Design on board this made up for one of the most amazing and craziest experiences I’ve ever had as an entrepreneur, no company has ever shown as much care and consideration into a project as much as Luxe designs and the final product… Well, it speaks for itself. Liasing with them was a bliss as they will always keep me updated along the way whether that was to do with delivery times of materials or when labourers had been booked in. Luxe design have the means to control every aspect of your construction needs, they supplied me with builders, handymen, plumbers, electricians, painters, gas engineers and many other specialists. I was able to comfortably concentrate on my own work whilst I knew I could leave everything in the hands of luxe designs as their project manager had literally every corner of the world under control that I had not needed to worry. They were fast as finding resources that I had required as I had very specific needs and wants throughout the project and kept changing my mind or adding to the ideas which they kept up with and were ahead of in no time. Examples of this could be the stairs light design I thought of last minute and within a couple days the design, concept and Implementation was complete! Even with the impact of inflation on all markets of the economy Luxe design were still able to keep their prices down when it came to material costs, labour costs and general costs.
