“We came across Place For Humans on Houzz when we were struggling with our current architect who lacked any vision. Following our first meeting we were blown away by the first design. He fully understood how we wanted the house to work, the niche areas for our daughters and created a modern family centric home. Joe has continued to work with us throughout all the changes we have requested. Most recently Joe went above and beyond to help our neighbours understand our extension plans. He created a pack to outline how all their concerns were mitigated and spent the afternoon getting to know our elderly neighbour to reassure her. I cannot recommend Place for Humans enough”

“We first consulted James in the spring of 2015 to help us with an extension to our existing house. (Although there were 3 years between the initial consultation and completion of the build, this was influenced by our decision to choose exactly a start date and also the availability of our chosen builder.) James' brief was to bring more light into the house and create a space from which we could enjoy the garden. His first design was impressive and we thought just what we were looking for, however he went away and after a rethink presented a design which we consider to be spectacular and which has provided us with a living space which far exceeds our initial expectations. Throughout the design process James was always supportive and was a good listener, which is why when added to his flair and ideas the whole project has delivered exactly what we wanted. Testament to the detail and quality of the plans we had no problems at all with planning consent (which James managed for us entirely) and the building process required no revisions to the design as we went along. I have no reservations in recommending James.”
