The design consultant came to our house to discuss what we had envisioned and how to make it work within our budget. The design consultant was very knowledgeable and professional and sent us a quote and layout the very same night. We had many different installation specialists working in our house at different times. The project manager and all the installers were very pleasant and kept us informed of their progress. All issues were addressed and resolved very quickly, and if we had any questions or concerns, our project manager was always available to discuss them. “To set the scene : we are mid-way through construction, to renovate & extend of our Victorian terrace in East London. We've had Seán and Stephen Ltd as our architects for 18 months so far. My wife and I are complete novices to design & construction, and Seán and Stephen have expertly and supportively guided us through each stage, enabling us to really enjoy every part of creating our new home. I would happily recommend this professional practice to family and friends. They were great at helping to bring some of our own design preferences to life using plans, 3D models, and interactive virtual room design tools. But they also have challenged our thinking too, leading us to add in a number of amazing and creative features that we would never otherwise have considered. Seán and Stephen created an extremely thorough and professional Design & Access Statement to help explain our project to the local planners. As a direct result of the quality of S&S’s planning pack our application (which proposed various potentially contentious items such as a basement, lightwell, and dormer) was approved without a single significant amendment. Since the contractor began the works Seán and Stephen have project managed every aspect of the construction programme, providing us with detailed weekly updates and explaining everything to us in layman’s terms. They consistently fight our corner with the contractor on a number of technical and cost-related issues which gives us real confidence that the project is in safe hands. So far we have enjoyed a stress-free project thanks to their project management skills”

It was badly laid-out and draughty when we bought it for a good price. We decided to invest the saving in a new kitchen, 2nd bathroom, insulation and upgrade to modern electrics. After speaking with various builders we settled on Asset PM because of the combination of Karolina's calm sense of organisation and Robert's extensive previous build experience. The team was easy to deal with and kept us informed as the works progressed (we briefly moved out to family). One of the things that impressed us is that Asset PM honoured their original quote even though costs went up mid-way through the project due to unexpected inflation. “We added an orangery to extend our existing kitchen to create a large open plan room for kitchen, dining and seating. We chose Westbury mainly because we wanted a bespoke solution, they clearly had lots of experience of what does (and doesn't) work and they came up with designs that we really liked which brought to life and greatly improved our own half-baked ideas! We used Westbury to do everything....design, planning permission, building works (foundations, knocking through etc), building the orangery, installing underfloor central heating (including most of the plumbing), lighting and other electrics, internal floor tiling and they made and installed various bespoke fittings to help integrate the 'old' and 'new' areas into a single living space. We found all the Westbury staff to be friendly and professional and importantly they kept us well informed throughout. Most have been with the company for years and are passionate about doing a good job. Any building work always comes with an element of disruption and the real test of any firm is how they deal with the unforeseen issues that inevitably crop up - we didn't have many, but all were sorted promptly and professionally. Overall the whole design and build experience was a pleasure and the end result has exceeded our expectations.”
