“We previously worked with Granitech about 10 years ago to install granite kitchen countertops. Based on our positive experience, we contracted with them again to remodel our master bathroom. We were so pleased with the outcome during the project that we also replaced a tile guest bathroom floor and tile kitchen backsplash. The master bath project took about two weeks. The Granitech team was prompt, professional, courteous, hard working, diligent and experts in their work. They were just plain enjoyable to work with. The designer, Jennifer, was creative and energetic and her attention to details made all the difference in the world. We are so pleased with all our recent projects--absolutely beautiful work. We will definitely call Granitech next time we undertake renovations.”

“Dave Hepler not only builds a beautiful home, he also does a great job completing repairs to other homes as needed. I have had my real estate license in the area for nearly thirteen years and gone through numerous home inspections. Many of my clients use Dave and Hepler Homes for all types of repairs from new roofs, entire exterior wall replacements, and replacement of entire electrical systems. Dave and his crew work fast, in a clean manner and they are highly efficient, often facilitating a closing to be on time because of their great competence. Hepler Homes also works well with structural engineers where needed and they are always polite and respectful of my clients needs. Pricing is more than fair and again, the work is excellent. “Between 2002 and 2003, Michael Ipsan/Horizon took a small 1,800 square foot circa 1942 farmhouse and integrated an addition that more than tripled the size of the house and resulted in a beautiful contemporary farmhouse, with upgrades to plumbing, electrical, windows and siding in the original part of the house. The integration was seamless and the project came in on-time and on-budget, with wonderful workmanship. While we had retained an architect for the overall design, Michael made many useful suggestions on tweaks to the design that significantly improved the outcome. The kitchen and pantry were recognized by HGTV in their American Home 2005 show, and in 2008 the house was recognized with a spot on the Historic Garden Week in Virginia tour, both testaments to the quality of the construction. We've had other friends who've had nightmare construction projects with other builders; our experience was exactly the opposite. Warranty issues were minor, and Horizon has stood behind the construction even to this day. In the years since it was completed we've been happy to have Michael walk other prospective clients through the house to see what was done, which speaks to our respect for his work and honesty. We can highly recommend Horizon to anyone considering a custom home builder.”

“Anders Hurd was recommended to me by a local builder who I have known for some time. I have called on him for help with three or four tasks at the house which I could have done but just did not have the time or equipment. He did a great job in every case. He was timely, skilled, safety-conscious, and efficient. He completed each task in a professional manner and his charges for his work were very appropriate for the time and effort required. I would give Anders my highest recommendation and strongly urge anyone reading this to call on him for any kind of handyman tasks you may have. He is honest and friendly and a great resource.”

“I don't normally review anything unless I am either super impressed or extremely mad. And I have to say, I am so super impressed and extremely happy with my new kitchen. I just bought a house in Rockville area, and I hated the existing kitchen. After scrambling through the websites, I came upon Cyrus Construction. So, I gave it a try. From first call to the last hour that the crews were here, I had a smooth and great service, plus the absolute workmanship. James was so courteous and patient when I had him explain certain things to me over and over, again and again. The crews were punctual, and very polite. Whatever I want done, I just call the office, and I have it taken care of by the crews. Besides the service, they also have great selections of cabinet and granite counter top. The products that James presented to me are beautiful and of top quality. The only frustration I had with this kitchen renovation was what to choose. Anyway, I ended up with the Bianco Antico granite and Vanilla Cream Pewter Glaze cabinet. This combination of cabinet, counter top, knobs, lighting, and even vent is absolute gorgeous. Every time I walk in this new kitchen, I feel "Gooood"!”

“Very professional team starting from the sales representative to the installers. We went from an almost non-usable space because of the heat from the sun to a large outdoor space. This pergola is built to last with hardly any maintenance. Would definitely recommend Dream Design Construction.”
