We're so pleased that we took their recommendation because from the first time we met Bill, right through the build and onto the completion of the project we have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and expertise of himself and his staff. We planned to extend our house at the back and to the side (which we have done) but with advice and suggestions from Bill, who was able to guide us during the whole design process, we have managed to gain so much more from the build than we originally anticipated. Bill reconfigured the layout to allow us to also have space for a downstairs toilet/wet room and also a laundry room. He did all of this without compromising on the other key features we wanted to incorporate into our new kitchen/family room and study area. Bill also suggested installing 5 Bi-Fold doors across the back of the house instead of the planned windows and patio doors and the result is amazing. We now have maximum light and a feeling of space all day long as well as an uninterrupted view of the garden. Everything came in on budget and we're confident that no corners were cut to achieve this. I honestly can't recommend Bill and his team highly enough. “Richard and his team were able to completely transform our dark and gloomy terrace in South West London into a bright and spacious family home. They provided us with lots of advice and clever ways to maximise the space we had and we’re thrilled with the result.”

“Greendawn reconfigured the ground floor extension to our house in Ealing. This involved a new cloakroom, a new laundry / utility room and a space for a larger fridge / freezer. There were also two external door replacements, four window replacements, one completely new window and changing a flat roof for a pitched one plus all the associated plumbing, tiling and electrical work. Firstly we liked the care taken with the estimating and quoting for the work. This enabled us to fine tune what we wanted and avoid the risk of misunderstandings later. Generally the job admin and paper work was very good. They were fair with progress payment timing and we could clearly see what we were paying for. Secondly we liked the way Greendawn staff tackled the job. They worked carefully, did not take shortcuts, were cheerful and fitted in well with the timing of external suppliers (eg for the windows and doors). They also had imaginative and practical solutions when the architect's drawings clashed with reality. Easy to communicate with. And finally they willingly dealt with snagging. Building work is always messy, can be stressful, will almost certainly hit some unexpected difficulty and finish late. Greendawn are not immune from these factors. But they made living with them easier.”
