“NOT YOUR AVERAGE BUILDERS!! Elliott construction undertook a major project for us and we are delighted with the results. they are a very professional team. Pre-work We looked at 5 different building companies and Elliotts were the only ones who came with a fully costed project plan and timeline from the first meeting. Before the building work started we purchased a caravan to live in onsite whilst the work was ongoing, the team helped us get this set up and installed a dedicated water and power supply to the van. During the build As with any project, things change as you progress, we made a few design changes along the way and again, the team at Elliotts worked with us and advised on how best to achieve the desired outcomes. One of the dreaded things with any project is that the builders wont turn up, in all honesty we lost around 2 days and this was only due to bad weather and on one occasion completely unforeseen circumstances which we were accepting of....but if anything we gained more days as some of the team worked over bank holidays (after checking we were ok with that). The site was left in great order every night which helped reduce the stress of the project too. The finished build is amazing and a family home that we absolutely love.”

“Having used the professional services of Design Solutions 8 years ago for a commercial project, converting a 1930's art deco building into residential flats on which Simon of Design Solutions, Poynton also acted as our Project Manager, there was only one company we were then going to use for our house extension and the re-modelling of our home. Simon is professional, approachable, enthusiastic and full of great ideas and his vast number of contacts in the building industry were invaluable to us when it came to both the design and fit out of the extension. Simon recommended 3 builders to us and we chose one we had worked with before on another commercial project on which Simon had also done the design work. The builder he recommended was perfect for the job and backed up by Simon's recommendation, we had complete confidence in him, so important when it is your home and having confidence in the design and build team is absolutely key. As with every project Design Solutions have worked on for my family, we were absolutely delighted with the finished build. Our home not only functions better for us but looks so much more attractive inside and out too. I would highly recommend Design Solutions for being friendly, very approachable along with their professionalism, great advice and expertise.”

“The project was a single storey extension, with complete re-design of our ground floor. Andrew visited our property to take extensive internal and external photographs and measurements, and discuss with us at length what we were hoping to achieve. He produced a design / plans and was patient whilst we asked for a couple of minor amendments and asked lots of questions. He was always quick to respond by 'phone and email. He then successfully took us through the planning process with the local council, and produced building control plans which were approved by the council, and used extensively by our builders. We would use Andrew again should we have a future project, and recommend him wholeheartedly.”
