Sue designed our garden. She took the time to understand our likes and dislikes and gave us various options and suggestions which we would not have thought of ourselves. The ideas worked very well and the final design was something that we love and continue to get very positive comments from family and friends.

Best decision ever to hire Sue of Breeze Garden Design to design our garden! You will get someone that listens, designs with knowledge and who will save you money in terms of choosing the right plantings first time. We have back garden in West London of roughly 13m by 6.5m (44' x 22') which needed to be multifunctional in terms of use as we share it with teens and a dog. Hubby, esp likes to grow tomatoes and veg, and I wanted a backbone of all-year round interest with varying seasonal colour and cut flower options. We all wanted some lawn and and entertainment area and we all had opinions, made more challenging by our lack of deep horticultural knowledge. Sue somehow came up with a design which unified our needs and wants! What seemed to me at first like almost too plain and simple a design, came alive in real life and offers something to enjoy every day and in every season. With a softly spoken manner and great ideas, we learned to trust Sue to deliver on her design while allowing some give and adaptation, all at affordable rates. Her sub-contractor was knowledgeable and his team super professional and worked cleanly and with a 'can do' approach. Sue made recommendations for seasonal plantings suitable for gardens soil, light, as well as for our tastes. We loved that Breeze Garden Design maintained contact and checked in on the garden at various stages and, even months after the initial work, remains approachable We have already appreciated and had compliments for the design on completion, but have waited til winter to see how the garden has maintained interest and structure before giving Breeze Gardens the full 5 stars. Even now with the natural paring back of foliage and flower, it is attractive, with a range of heights and winter-flowering plants and it will continue to develop and delight with time.

We were completely clueless about garden design (but still quite particular in knowing what we didn’t like) and Sue was a dream to work with for our back garden redesign - she made it so straightforward, came armed with lots of lovely ideas (different 3D designs from different angles which were really impressive), images and explanations of everything for us novices, and was just extremely responsive and organised throughout. She organised all the plants (complete with planting guide), the landscaping (with ideas for tiles and materials to use), suggestions for irrigation and lighting. She tweaked things as we went along based on our ad hoc requests and preferences, made great suggestions for things we hadn’t considered at all, and I feel like she really listened and didn’t try to push her own style upon us - she’s really open-minded and just has a lovely energy to work with. Would recommend wholeheartedly - we look forward to spending many summers out in our new garden!

Sue was fantastic. She visited us and I felt got a quick understanding of how we wanted our garden to look, and then guided us through planting choices as we didn’t know much about actual plants. Paul, recommended by Sue, did a wonderful job of making Sue’s plans real. We love our new outdoor space and very much enjoyed working with Sue who is collaborative and creative. We are delighted to have had Sue design our front and back garden. Sue brought together our rather vague requirements into a thoughtful and cohesive scheme. Sue was full of ideas, advice and recommendations for materials and suppliers as well helping us to find a landscaper. She supported throughout the building process and carried out the planting. Sue also gave us detailed advice into maintenance and plant care so we can look after the garden going forward. Our garden is now a relaxing and calming space which are we are delighted with.

Sue did a fantastic job of designing our tiny garden! We wanted to create more space and greenery but needed something low maintenance. Sue listened to everything we said and even after a few false starts due to the pandemic, we got the garden we’d always dreamed of. Can highly recommend working with Sue at Breeze Garden Design. Our small London garden was dull and un-inviting but is now a beautiful, peaceful and functional extension to our home. Sue was really lovely to work with - she had so many fabulous ideas but at the same time really listened to our brief and understood what we want. I don't think we could have hoped to achieve all that we wanted in the garden , yet we have managed to do that - we are so happy with the result . Despite being a small Chiswick garden we have flowers, trees, shrubs, seating as well as some play area and great kids monkey bars, climbing wall and den! It looks fantastic and so many people have remarked how much bigger the garden it. We have lived in our property for over 20 years and enjoyed the garden but it was looking tired and certain areas were a problem and wasted. Although we had ideas about what changes we wanted to see we had no idea how to implement them or the expense that might be incurred. Sue is very friendly and approachable, and at our initial meeting she gave me some realistic costs which were very helpful in deciding whether we could afford to go ahead. We had certain features we were hoping to include - a gravel garden, pergola, raised vegetable beds, lawn area, paved paths. All this was achieved with a design incorporating many exisiting plants. We were very happy with the landscaper Sue recommended and thrilled with the finished garden, it is giving us both a lot of pleasure. All we need now is for everything to grow and fill out the borders, and enjoy watching it mature. I am happy to recommend Breeze Garden Design.

I can't tell you how literally transformational Sue's design and her work has been on my garden in Tooting. She took an absolute wreck and turned it into a genuinely lovely, multi functional space which I am still slightly awed to think as mine!! Sue was an absolute pleasure to work with and captured-and inspired!-my ideas incredibly quickly and was consistently helpful, flexible and imaginitive throughout. She provided multiple views and detailed drawings, provided really helpful estimates and identified excellent alternatives from both design to implementation to accomodate both my budget and planting preferences. She sourced and oversaw the planting itself and introduced me to her associates who physically put the garden together very swiftly and were clearly highly expert, polite, tidy and always on time. It was a dream job frankly and I have no hesitation in recommending Sue wholeheartedly. I will certainly be looking to involve her in my future garden plans and would strongly recommend you do too!!

Sue made the process of designing our Japanese inspired garden a very enjoyable experience and we were delighted with the final result. Our garden receives many compliments from friends and neighbors; there is something lovely to look at throughout the year. She really listened to what we wanted and was very good at taking us through her design ideas and presented us with beautiful planting plans that was brilliantly implemented by a gardener she recommended.

Sue was very easy to talk to and discuss ideas with. Having little knowledge of planting we very much relied on her to bring our preferences on colour and texture to life, and she did not disappoint! We had some clear ideas about how we wanted to use the garden, some were a bit eccentric, but Sue was very adaptable and approached all our discussions with some clear, practical guidance and a sense of humour. After the planting was completed Sue gave us a guide to look after the plants and was happy to keep in touch with any questions. We love our garden!
