“Last summer Emma helped us create a brand new garden; including a play area, new beds and lawn and a detailed planting plan. Our brief was for a family-friendly, low maintenance garden with year-round colour and interest, that also attracted bees and butterflies, and that’s exactly what Emma delivered. She also bought all the plants and materials, and created a maintenance plan to help us keep the garden looking great all year round. Having completed the planting at the end of last summer, it was so exciting and rewarding to see the garden come to life this spring, with so many interesting and beautiful plants. Now the garden has truly become an extension of our living space, and everyone who sees it comments on how stunning it looks. I would highly recommend Emma’s services, not only for her talent and expertise, but also because she is so personable and made the whole process a pleasure.”

“Melanie came up with a wonderful design for our small garden. We had strong ideas and wanted it to feel like another room to our home and give it a lush, evergreen feel. Her design was spot on and we love how it turned out. It’s meant we’ve had a new space that we’ve used all summer to entertain in. She introduced us to quality landscapers who helped bring it to life. Her relationship and communication with them meant the job was done with care and attention to detail.”

“We used LGD for several projects, not least the design and building of our garden. The design process was painless, with expert advice from their lead designer on hand almost whenever we needed her. The build was complicated due to access through the house and parking issues; however, the work was of the highest expected standards, and the project management allowed us to take a step back and let the team get on with the work. Both the landscape team and designers were engaged and polite throughout.”

“Ollie was great to work with. He spent time with us chatting about what we liked and what we hated! He then took that away and came up with some brilliant plans. He explained why he had chosen each plant and how they would work together. We’re really happy with the end result and can’t wait until everything comes into flower. “We had a very small space with an odd shape and awkward levels and were at a bit of a loss as to how to deal with it. David was a marvel in how he cleverly teased out our 'wants' and 'needs' and distilled them into a fabulous design which we instantly fell in love with. He also project managed the works and his constant attention to the implementation and strong focus on quality and problem solving was much appreciated. David is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and hard working; and was always open to us making changes as we went along. We are very happy in our lovely little courtyard garden and would highly recommend David. Rose and Peter”

“Laura Antiss has been and continues to be a pleasure to work with as a creative designer for my garden project . She has helped me crystal my bucket list into a workable design providing working drawings for the Landscape contractors including construction,electrical,irrigation and planting elements. She is hugely personable, flexible , full of common sense, very practical with great design flair and mindful of cost implications. A total find as she worked with Alan Titchmarsh on his last series of Love Your Garden and is great value for money given her vast experience . Do not hesitate to make contact with her !!”

“After 20+ years of living in the same house which had undergone numerous changes over the years, the garden was due a ‘makeover’ it had served us well as a family garden but our needs had changed (along with the ability to manage it) therefore time to look for an ‘expert’… Anthony Arnold of Emerging Landscapes stood out from others with the time he took to listen and understand our needs, wishes and not least, budget constraints. His approach is collaborative, very important as we wished to retain a few existing features which he needed to incorporate in the design. He explained and involved us in the design process along the way, from detailed site survey (we have a terraced garden, so not an easy task) concept drawing to final plan. He is innovative and creative and his desire to create a beautiful space that answers our needs and we can enjoy for many more years with minimum maintenance was very apparent. Our enthusiasm for the garden has been re-ignited.”

“Vicky took control of the design and planting of our garden in TN3 a number of years ago. The planting had instant impact and has matured beautifully. We are thrilled with the result and the attention to detail Vicky had throughout the process. She met the brief of a low maintenance scheme and excelled in her ability to interpret the aims of the project. She has kept in touch on how the garden has done through the seasons which has been really appreciated. We’d thoroughly recommend Vicky to others. “I hired Jo to advise me on how to, first clear my over grown mess of a garden and second for some ideas on how to modernise it, what plants to keep but more importantly what to do with a sunken garden, old stone wall and path we really don’t like Jo also took into account how this would all work with the future double rear extension.
