“We have employed the services of Luke from Roeder Landscapes over the past two years in planting up new beds, a small orchard and for lawn maintenance We are very happy with the results. His designs took full consideration of our ideas and built on these with further options taking into account soil conditions and aspect. Great attention was paid to bed preparation prior to planting which ensured the best growing conditions. Work was carried out efficiently with the minimum of fuss. He is now in the process of planting a wild flower meadow for us.”

“PC Landscapes have been amazing dealing with our garden. We have undertaken a huge project with approximately 3 acres of land that needs absolutely everything. PC landscapes have listen to our needs and have been able to design the garden to not only respect and compliment the architecture of our home but also they have taken into account that we have no knowledge of gardening and therefore they have simplified the process. “I used Simon to design the front and back garden of my Victorian London terrace house. I can't rate him highly enough, from the initial meeting where he listened to what I was after through to the designs, ideas and tendering process, he was professional throughout and a joy to work with. Having used a different company before on another project, I would always go back to Simon now. The final result looks amazing and my wife and I are very very happy with it.”

“Gill was wonderful to work with. We described what we wanted and Gill's designs were not just visually stunning but also in granular detail (as confirmed by Landscaper). Gill also managed through the project with our Landscaper and took ownership of the end to end project. This included recommending, supplying and planting all the plants. Gill worked well with the Landscaper, the Electrician and other sub contractors. Great work Gill highly recommended.”

“My wife and I were looking for a Landscape Designer/Architect who could make imaginative suggestions for extensive hard landscaping, as well as planting, etc. Having already interviewed numerous other firms (who evidently oversold their services on their web-sites and did not seem sure at all of designing hard landscapes) James was professional and installed confidence that he would interpret our brief with his own ideas. We commissioned the design stage of the works, and after receiving a preliminary design, we had a couple of meetings to develop the design, and now we have a superb masterplan for our gardens, paved/planter areas, planting plan and budget costings, which is exactly what we wanted. We are going to phase the works and have an accurate final costing from Designscape (and await a price from another to compare costs.).”

“Helen redesigned my garden, and it's simply stunning. She has created a relaxing outdoor retreat that will need relatively little maintenance and yet still looks great. I was struggling to keep up with the weeding, and I've also previously spent a small fortune buying plants that have not survived. I found Helen professional and talented. “We commissioned Special Gardens to design and manage our project in the South of France. From the first evaluation of the site, Sally interpreted our requirements with a full and sympathetic analysis of what we hoped to achieve. This was then tempered by Sally's absolute knowledge and understanding of the region and it's climate. Her recommendations for planting was outstanding and reflected both our personal style and the practicalities of the the garden. We were astonished to be presented with beautiful hand drawn plans at the end of the project. Sally has created a low maintenance, contemporary garden which flourishes even in the most adverse of conditions and she consistently worked with us to ensure our vision was accurately delivered. Sally took control of the project by sourcing the plants and managing the builders and landscapers. The net result was a hassle free experience . I would highly recommend her to any prospective client”

“Amy created a garden about 5 years ago for our new house in the country on a difficult sloping site. She is the perfect designer, listening to the client and producing both design and planting plans that complement the house and incorporate the client's thoughts. The planting has taken account of the soil and site conditions and continues to thrive. The garden has evolved over the 5 years and Amy continues to give advice where needed and encouragement where plants mis-behave. Amy is adaptable, professional and a delight to work with. We would have no hesitation in recommending her.”

“Builders have recently taken out or damaged many of my shrubs and plants. I decided to use this as an opportunity to do something new in the garden and, to this end, I consulted Laara. As I did not have a lot of money to spend, we arranged a short consultation with a single site visit to focus on creating some shape and structure for the garden. Laara helped me to focus my ideas and together we gradually built up a picture of how my garden could look. As she was on site, Laara could easily tell me which of my ideas and wishes were viable and which of them were unrealistic. At the end of the visit, Laara sketched a plan of the garden with all the details that we had talked about and agreed upon. I can now use this plan to make the changes in the garden in stages. Over time, I will be able to create a new and fresh garden without having to do it all in one single expensive overhaul. Laara has a nice light touch. She guided me away from unworkable ideas and took the workable ones and expanded and developed them. She simplified my choices as my mind had become overwhelmed with all the possible options. At the same time, she recognised my desire for change and gave me some good ideas to work with. I would recommend Laars for her ability to understand and interpret client needs.”
