Fitted Bedroom Wardrobe and Convertible Furniture
Comments (6)Hi Lauren, we're too far away to be of too much help, but the product range we offer most office is theCrown Living / Lifespace range. They have a huge range of door colours/styles (Over 120 at last count!) in matts, gloss, sparkes, painted woods/woodgrains, metalics etc. and a very flexible system. We recently came up against Sharps, and our quote for a similar configuration/style was around half the price of Sharps. If you pick carefully your styles and mix of units, it can be very good value. You could find your local dealer at this link. Alternatively if you struggle to track down a dealer, we could quote for supply only and have delivered direct to you if you have your own fitter lined up, though obviously we are too far away to offer our usual levels of service....See MoreMaster Bedroom Fitted wardrobes
Comments (9)This is what I would do if I had this space, from left to right, double hanging space between the bay and the chimney breast shelf above top rail, plinth shelf below, storage is always useful. Depending on the depth of the chimney breast you could incorporate the drawers here in front of it, I see no problem in extending this part of the wardrobe out if this still gives you room to walk around the bed, take this up to approx 1 metre high with a shelf on top, because I am male I would then fit a Tv on the wall above with doors that open out and retract back into the unit so your doors aren’t open into the room while watching the tv. If you do not have room to incorporate drawers here then I would put them in the right hand side of the chimney breast as this is the wider section, if you went for this option then above the drawers I would either continue with shelving above or lower the height of the drawers and put in a hanging rail for shirts or similar in height. I’m guessing if there is a lady present you will need space or hanging long dresses or similar so this could go on the far right leaving a centre space in this section for double hanging items. All doors could be made for example a shaker style with cut mirrors in between the borders. Depending on what you go for you may not need to fit the skirting around that part of the room as it will be hidden behind close doors but will depend on the condition on the walls behind it. Hope this makes sense and give you some ideas....See MoreHow to style fitted bedroom furniture?
Comments (10)Brass knobs! He he, sorry, had to say it:-). But for me the white cabinet handles don’t quite look right, think some small antique brass/bronze/pewter knobs would look more traditional and also suit the style of your bedstead. The one in pic is from Cast in Style but there’s plenty of places you can get cupboard knobs from. Agree with forza about a jewelry box and possibly painting behind the mirror a deeper shade. Also a dried flower arrangement would look nice. Lovely room btw. X...See MoreHelp ! Is an ensuite going to fit without ruining the master bedroom ?
Comments (27)Hi Just to update I have had a bathrooms designer out today who really knew what he was talking about and has said the architect is wrong and we could have the ensuite in the study, which is where we wanted it all along! There is more wall space in the 2nd bedroom so it would make more sense if we built a door through from that room and made that the main bedroom. It will still entail putting in a new soil pipe on the side wall and digging up part of the drive to put in an inspection chamber ( not sure of the correct word), but the joists run in the correct direction and are deep enough to go from the study to the outside wall. He thought the ensuite in the current bedroom would impact the room. The 2nd designer thought we could put the ensuite in the main bedroom, but have the doorway on a slant so it wouldn't impact so much? I'm going to get a 3rd quote/opinion and go from there, but feeling more positive today. Jonathan - hadn't realised you meant knocking into the other room, sorry. Peggysue67 - another good idea, thank you...See Moreclapot31
