Colour Scheme

Could you please inform me of the colours used for the fireplace, walls and blinds on this project. This is a very beautiful room with a subtle statement colour on the fire breast. Would very much like to try and re-create this look in my own home.

I love some lusciousness in my bedroom ... reds. pinks and oranges! (yes I also have lighter softer colours but like some fun thrown it too otherwise feels so boring). Am surprised that pink wasn't one of the choices! People talk a lot about serenity and seem to forget about other types of energy in the bedroom. It is said that the bedroom is mainly for 2 things both beginning with "S" and yet most people seem to only focus on the sleep bit.

House owners wishing to paint the external brickwork. First question I ask. Why? After all said and done, you paid loads for this home, why go and spoil it. Taking into account also your plans to paint the shed. YES ! that is an eyesore. Personally I'd refrain fro brick painting. Use the brick colour as a backdrop to say the odd bit of trellis with climbing roses or whatever. The shed, well. As a means of keeping weatherproof etc. Yes I would probably paint that a deep green, at the same time say four feet or so away from the walls. I would erect some trellis and grow climbers of sorts to hide the shed, but at the same time. This will allow space for maintenance of the shed and also provide a pleasant sight.

Ah... if you haven't moved in, stay off paint for a while. They can hide minor leaks! Pressure test the bathroom before painting. You will find it a lot less boring during summer! If you are ordering shutters, a non-white one might be a good option to start with. If you don't want to invest at such early stage, look up 247blinds, I always get my blinds from them and the blinds are very easy to install. Hope it helps :)

You could carry on the teal on the walls and then add rich jewel coloured cushions to create a cosy room. Teal also sits well with a blush pink on the walls or a simple neutral as in the pic below that I found on Pinterest. Teal sits well with so many colours.
