Are those lights around the mirrors?

Hi, I was wondering if there were 3 lights? around the mirrors. Is it a design in the mirrors? where did you buy them from? Thank you

Thank you for your interest in our project. The mirrors were designed as a bespoke item and incorporated the lighting.

Practically any sconce can be mounted over a mirror as in my first picture. The biggest trick to making it look good is to make sure the electrical junction boxes are all mounted at the exact same height and securely so they don't wiggle at all. Also, having a fixture there when mounting the boxes helps so the screw holes to mount the light don't end up in the wrong spot. I often like to throw the mounting bracket away and screw the light directly to the box if possible when mounting a light over a slick mirror.

Absolutely echo comments above regarding raising the soil level around the tree, a big no no as it will mean at best the tree will struggle and fail to thrive and will probably eventually die. Decking is a good solution if you want to install a seating area around the tree, with planting around it to soften the edges. I would maybe look at a composite decking as it will mean less maintenance and will not become as slippery as timber in a shaded area, also if going for a contemporary look it can look very sleek, especially if choosing a grey or even black. You could also add in some lower growing shrubs, herbaceous, spring bulbs etc and create a edge of woodland feel to this area, which would have interest and create a lovely view, whatever the time of year. Hi, the only thing I would say is put the fire on and see how hot it gets. We have a gas inserted fire, a little bit like yours but it really belts out the heat. We had an oak mirror on the wall above it and it got so hot we were really concerned that it would burn! We didn't want a full mantel piece so we bought an oak "shelf" to absorb the heat, then put the mirror above that. Now I am not worried about the mirror. I still have to switch the fire off after a couple of hours as the wood "shelf" gets really hot, but I am not worried that anything of value will get damaged. If the shelf gets a bit black (it hasn't so far) I won't mind. I definitely would not put a TV over a fire for all the above reasons. Hope that helps a little.

Thanks for the help. Both the lights are from Castlegate lighting. Yes I am a bit bothered about the different finishes. The wall mounted tap will also be just below the mirror, so it has the potential to be a horrible mismatched mess!! I guess the only way of finding out will be to order them all and see what they are like when they turn up. If they don't look good together I will just get a plain illuminated bathroom mirror I think. On another note, any ideas for floor tiles?! The wall tiles are a matt white.
