Revamping living room

Hi, what colours work well with sage green. We have lots of natural wood and the (outdated) chocolate brown sofa's. Looking for mellow feel to room. Thanks for any advice

How about a duck egg blue or add some greys? Could you add some pictures it may help people to visualise what kind of room it is

Hello there! I agree with you, I'd avoid trying to match the curtain fabric with your blue sofas/Persian rugs. It could make the room look quite dark overall, and also overshadow the beautiful rugs. You have such a lovely large window and as you have a privacy films over the bottom halves, why not try a light fabric, perhaps a voile or plain cotton fabric such as in the images below? I can't work out the exact colour on your walls, but if they are a warmer neutral paint then a warm toned creamier plain fabric will look best. White could be too stark. Morning Ellie, thanks for reaching out!! I've attached the floor plan of the area of the house in question. We are looking at turning the study into a playroom for the kids and have other areas of the house for hosting etc so really looking at this area as a place to relax and chill of a night, hopefully without too many of the kids toys making their way in :) The dimes of the lounge are: 18'11"x12'10"(max) (x(max)) (5.77x3.91(max) (x(max)) Really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks for all of your advice Carolina. Your right I don’t need another chair in the room, so I will stick with the existing furniture. I do need new curtains and blinds, it’s amazing how different the room looks in your mock up, it really looks great. Dimitry and London Stone are great colours, can you recommend an equivalent in the homebase own brand? I’m thinking of buying a bracket for the tv and moving the tv unit (can I get away with it staying in the room, or should I get rid completely?) so there is more room by the chair. If it’s possible do you recommend the tv on the wall where it is now, above the fireplace or in the corner where it was in my original pics. I’m so undecided it’s ridiculous! I also want to change the lighting in the room, as the existing main lights are not bright enough. Any suggestions on this? I want something that looks fab but isn’t going to hit anyone’s head if they are walking under them. Sorry for all the questions!
