Help with Sofa and throw pillow covers

Hi,
What color of sofa and throw pillows would go with a living rokm painted with Fresh stem and crushed aloe living room. I'm trying to create a classy and attractive impression.

I love all the art you have chosen for this room....and the bit of yellow in them totally work. I was nervous about the size of a few, so grouping is a good idea. I think the largest one can work alone and the other two can maybe stack?

Hello cnvt, For the size of the room... I'd suggest a 2 or 3 seater in the red you like.. It will go with the armchair you have. Then add 1 or 2 armchairs to match.. Place the sofa to face the fireplace and the two chairs could be placed with space between where the current sofa with brown throw is.. This means you would have a feeling of flow as two chairs take up less room... The striped armchair then could stay where it is and as Minnie said you can dress everything with warm, neutral shade cushions and the curtain fabric if you can find it for some cushions, is a good way to compliment the look... A creamy throw or two on an arm of a chair and sofa could be good.. With the darker colour it's important not to fill the room with large furnishings.. The two current sofas are really too much but because they are light they are not so heavy looking, so for this reason I'm suggesting 1 sofa and possibly 2 chairs.. : ))

Hi Sue, thank you so much for the idea of darkening the rug with tea, it’ s made of cotton so it should work ! I do appreciate your point of view about the kilim being too big for the sofa , I just needed this ! Actually they are too big even as floor cushions ... Never mind, they have been flattened in the closet for years and they’ll go back there. Can I ask you how many pillows should i use on 5 place sectional sofa ? 2 or 3 per corners? i will have to study how to combine boho pillows ... because it’s easy to choose a couple of them but choosing nine different matching pillows it‘s a kind of rebus for me expecially because i don’t like matchy-matchy but I don’t like confusion either ....thank you again , you have been very helpful!
