What colour walls,worktops and floor go with the cupboards?

Hi, I recently got my kitchen cupboards updated, I'm unsure what colour to go with for the floor and worktops I was thinking black or white worktops ?! Any suggestions, photos and ideas would be great!

Wood Floor colour to go with 'Dulux Natural hessian' colour walls?
Comments (2)Hello Precious! I used Natural Hessian as the base colour all over my previous house. I had the standard new build light beige carpet throughout so a light coloured wood would work well. I personally think the grey wood wouldn't work well with it. As for accents, I used a bright duck egg blue in the bedroom, a pea green in the living room and used dulux cookie dough as a natural compliment in the hallway and landing. If you have any paint left, a good trick is to paint an a3 piece of paper and take it shopping with you. Test your favourite colours and floorings against it. A small colour swatch is pretty useless for doing this. Don't be shy to ask for samples to take home and try in situ. Comments (1)I think you should keep the blue walls but that green wall on the left if I’m correct I think that you should paint it white then your bedroom closets should be a light grey or a darkish grey. I agree grey would work well here but I would also add some colour to brighten the room via your window blind and a few kitchen accessories. Either a bright lime or canary yellow would look great with grey. See our website for more colours and patterns.
Our roller blinds are swappable so if you change your mind about the colour you can just swap the fabric for a different one!

8 years agoThink il get this one it's double sided so I could choose white or grey plus I like the square edges think it looks more modern Than the rounded.
