Home Decorations for Airbnb Apartment

Hi all,

I rent my apartment on Airbnb and would like to invest to make it look nicer, more colourful and homely. Right now its very basic and I would like to put in a new sofa(bed) as well as some soft furnishings.

Would anyone be able to recommend anything?

Hi. Are there any particular styles or colours you like or do you just want something that would appeal to the majority? I think a change of colour for the ŵalls may also inject some warmth. Perhaps also paint the bed. Are you actually looking to paint? If so, do you know which way the rooms face? Or are you really interested in just having someone come in and do it for you? If so, could also look at the "find pro" section on houzz and search interior designers in London. That way you can look at previous work and reviews. Good "room" rate btw, much cheaper than a hotel, will have to remember this!

Hello Molly, any of the above ideas would suit it simply depends on your tastes. If you put shelves up you will have to put stuff on them to make it feel right - if you have have many books or nick nacks then perhaps limit the shelving. Pictures are always great - they add interest and can add colour. Yasmina's feature wall is fantastic and super bold but you have to be comfortable with it. A wall of old mirrors can look fantastic - reflects light and movement from outside. Your clock looks lost I'm afraid - a wall of retro clocks on the other hand... I really like the colour of settee - anything can go with it and you can add a pop of colour with a cushion or two, rug, flowers etc. It seems that you are not sure what you would like, so I would suggest you start doing some research to find out what you are drawn to. Look on house at ALL styles. Look in interiors magazines and just start collecting a few ideas. You will be drawn to something - its just a matter of working out what it is - then building on it. At the moment the room is very minimal in terms of its contents - it might be that you don't like clutter at all and simply need a key standout piece placed correctly to add that wow factor. Small pink room spare Green room sons/guest Bathroom going be redesign from scratch Lounge going to be replastered walls/ceiling Hall I like dado look but in new colours when decided. faux brick paper moment i had i still like perhaps could use herringbone one a bit on one of my walls or just plain walls what do you think see sample. Lauging to myself think you better just move in lol. No I would like to get this nice and open the home up a bit but budget means cant do everything so needs to blend.
