need help for curtain colour?

I have painted my living hall light gray colour. However, I have a high window and two other windows in my living hall. But I don't know what colour curtain should I go for. My furniture will be wood and the flooring is mochachino marble colour. Please advice. Thanks

If you want the home to feel larger choose one close to your wall color, hanged them high and wide to make the rooms feel bigger...if you are more playful with your decor get a pattern

Pick up a colour from your hard finishes. Gray needs contrast to come to life.

Stunning effect for small rooms is a good idea, it will make forget the room is small! ;-) According to this, i would paint one wall dark (black, steel grey, night blue or dark brown) and do the same with the drawer chest. Then you can go for any headboard : neutral color fabric, plain deep red or jade green or golden fabric(this last one looks stunning on any dark wall), wood or bamboo headboard but with a simple shape if you look for a zen atmosphere , or for a statement a really oriental shape one in red or golden ! I know it seems hard, but going till the end of your ideas ( the oriental look of the curtains) will improve the curtains and the all room. Good evening!. Well your bay window shape is beautiful and you should make this a feature. Is privacy an issue?, if so opt for plantation shutters where light can still stream in, they look fantastic from the outside too. If privacy isn't an issue, I'd suggest Roman blinds in a beautiful fabric. Romans are a great way of creating a high end look on a limited budget as you don't need a lot of fabric so can opt for a statement fabric. Choose fabric first, lick out a neutral an tailor paint around that. The furniture looks ill fitting, consider a neutral leather with amazing cushions. Lighting is always an issue, and your accent lighting needs to enhance the rooms best side. Lighting these days doesn't need to be expensive to add beautiful statements to a room, look out for filament bulbs, they are amazing, and very cost effective!.

I agree with the grey suggestions. Purples and grays always look great together. I'd go with something that was a grey and white print...check out West Elm, they always have some great ones.
