It looks like the cabinetry is also Dura Supreme's "White" paint, which is our brightest of our White paint selection. I'm sure this kitchen feels even more bright and spacious in person. Great design work! Mandi @ Dura

I am having White under counter basin . I want basin counter , floor and shower bench to be of same colour marble but different colour from my beige Parleto wall. Please suggest colour . Do you mean White Carara Italian marble ? What is Ceasarstone Eggshell ? I have put my wall marble tiles in horizontal pattern . There will be no wooden cabinets in the bath. Bathroom height is 10.5 ft. Should I use a Chandellier and some spot lights for the White colour ceiling ? My style is traditional .

Another vote for Dekton and Sileston Quartz worktops, use them all the time in our projects as so much more forgiving and low maintenance than granite or marble. Agree that Corian is a good option if you have a large island to prevent visible joins, whilst it has other benefits you do need to be very careful when it comes to heat. Vast range of colours and textures in all types nowadays so the type of material shouldn't limit the effect you want to achieve - be that traditional or contemporary. I am always a big advocate that a worktop is an investment, there is no point spending a large sum on a beautiful quality kitchen and then finishing it off with a worktop that won't stand up to time as well as the rest of the room or cheapen the look - I always recommend to go for the best you can afford.

Hi Sonlane, The miter joint is usually more pricey, if it fits your budget you should be ok doing it. Otherwise, choosing a non-mitered edge brings the quote down. If you choose this option then go for a drop down that doesn't look like a continuation of the pattern. The filler for the joint should be one approved by Consentino to be used on Dekton, if it is approved and who is fitting the worktop is experienced, you shouldn't have problem with water and cleaning. If you are worried, try to get the brand they'll be using so you can check if it is approved by the brand. But if you check their manual here, they give directions and suggestions. Basically they say " Mastic or silicon can be used as an adhesive, due to the rigidity, minimal expansion and excellent dimensional stability (straightness, squareness, bending, warping) of Dekton material." I can just about see the marks that you mean, and really do sympathise, but your kitchen looks fabulous! When I get a new 'thing', i am horribly anxious until the first mark, after which I find I can relax. You have to live in the space, not maintain a showhome. My pal's husband installed a uniquely-shaped gleaming stainless steel countertop and, during the first week, while whisking a vinaigrette, she got salt under the bowl. Disaster. So, amidst much angst, husband took wire wool to the whole surface to achieve a grainy surface. Temporary disappointment followed by relaxation! Time to get out your Grayson Perry vase of peonies and open a bottle...
