Front door paint colour

I need to add some kerb appeal to this tired exterior. The front door needs painting and I'm not sure whether to keep it white or change things up a bit. The glass panel has green squares. Any ideas?
P.S. All the houses on this street have the same front door with the same glass panel. Boring!

Perhaps you should question why you want a 'contemporary colour' instead of one of the many choices which will enhance your beautiful period house. Comments (7)Hi, I'd keep both the same colour and I don't mind the white; however the exterior has fairly warm hues with the porch door, tiles, brickwork and so the white is a contrast. Comments (21)What a great decision to have to make, I wish I lived on a colourful street. Lucky you. I like either the salmon pink of the first photo or the palest pink of the second photo. I’d stick to white for the door. Comments (30)Hi all, I know this is now several months old - however I’ve finally reached the top of my decorators list and he comes next week to paint the front door. I opted for Little Greene Celestial Blue as recommended by Sonia (thank you!). My question now is should we have celestial blue on the door frame too, or should we stick with white??
