What is this great green/blue color on the wall. I would love to find something similar for my bedroom. Thank you in advance!

Hi Sarah, I love the colour of the walls - it’s a great backdrop for some art which I recommend you add to the walls. The colour schemes you’re thinking about for your cushions is perfect - I think coral, mustard and blue will be very eye catching. I’d suggest getting some cushions that are different sizes and shapes, and don’t forget to add texture as well! This will really create a warm and cosy atmosphere in your living room, and you can add some fun styles in too. Everything in design is subjective but painting 'statement walls' is, I suggest, a bit dated. A soft neutral with off-white woodwork would be my choice. Light grey would work, and has been very popular over the last few years, but I've seen people tire of it quickly as it's not a great colour for the English winter. You might also consider something bolder such as F&B 'Stone blue' on all the walls. Contrast with a good off-white for the woodwork such as F&B 'Wimbourne white'. (I suggest taking some time to get the right off-white for your room as this makes a huge difference to the quality of finish. I hope this helps. It is a great room.

It's an awkward one as a lot of the kitchen is in the dining area, and the space that you don't want to have a table & chairs is opposite the sink. You could put one of the armchairs there. Keep the sofa where one is at the moment. You could go for a darker cognac leather or dark grey. Grey tones go with the brick. A nice bright rug would look good, but I'd keep the walls light and airy as they are now. In order to place something like this arrangement, you will have an armchair near to the sink. Although the kitchen is lovely...........If you ever have the budget, i'd consider moving the kitchen around. Change the island possibly for a smaller one and turn the side run of units along the left hand wall to across the room for 'U' Shape, giving you a much better sofa / lounge area.

My mother recently put some tropical style wallpaper on a feature wall in her kitchen - where the cabinets and walls are very similar to yours - and then painted another wall with a colour picked out of the wallpaper. It looks fab, really lifts the room.
