Garden Offices - worth it?
Comments (5)You could have a corner one where the basketball net is maybe!? We bought ours from Skinners sheds. They do all sizes and we have insulated ourselves which works out cheaper. Maybe mark size out and see?! They do take up room and may take up too much of your garden....See MoreGarden Office / planning permission
Comments (3)We had a garage built 4 years ago in our garden (rear access) and from what I remember we had to keep the height no more than 2.5m high so it has a flat roof, and it couldn’t cover more than 50% of the garden, which it doesn’t, so it came under Permitted Development. There was a Portal on the Planning Office website which listed the criteria so that’s worth a look. We had someone to inspect the footings (builder sorted that) and all was okay. You can just see the garage at the end of the garden....See MoreGarden new design with a new garden office
Comments (5)Hi Stacy, yes thats where my comment came from. I will look back at that again to see about the planting. I wasn't keen on the horizontal pavement. What I really need is a designer to look at the whole space. I'm not sure how to best build up the raised area and I'm worried it's going to be put together quickly and I will miss a key moment to get this right!...See Morehelp, we r having a garden office /bar built
Comments (1)Hello Joanne, I would love to have a chat about the style you like and how you envision this patio. The project looks very interesting. Please find attached some images with existing projects that may help you decide which line to follow. I think the bar design may affect the other elements from your propsal. There are 3 proposals. One is neutral (gray, black and brown), another more Mediterranean style with lots of white and bright colors and the third is about using intense colours and bringing the nature inside giving lots of character to the proposal. The three options are interesting and could perfectly fit depending on what is your vision. Hope this helps! Warm regrds, Anca...See MoreDesign Spec Ltd
