Flooring help!

Hi all, I've finally got a moving in date of the end of June! I have bought a light grey sofa which will be delivered when we move in and I would like some advice on the flooring. I originally wanted parquet flooring I've been put off by the price of it knowing I have a husky haha! I wouldn't want to spend that amount on flooring and fitting for it to be scratched etc. There is luxury vinyl but I just don't like the idea of vinyl in hall and living room for some reason. I'm thinking about laminate and where ever I look I can't find a nice parquet laminate so I'm thinking of a dark brown malmo oak flooring. Do you think this would look ok with a light grey sofa? And throughout hall? In my mind it does but I'm just not sure and would like some expert help :) if so what colour rug, tv cabinet and tables would match? Helllppp please :)

I think it will go very well. It can be a very restful look You can either keep to the neutrals or throw in accent colours of your choice.
Above keeping it all neutral or below throw in the accent colours :-

Hi Alex, we could help with a herringbone laminate flooring. We have 2 options our Natural Oak Fisko herringbone

and darker Smoked Oak Holmen herringbone.

These products are completely unique as come as individual planks that are clicked together to form herringbone pattern. The flooring also has a unique 1 in 14 repeat making these the most realistic wood like laminates on the market.

If youre not sure, keep it cheap. These two are just nice sheet vinyl. Both look great and cost peanuts. If. You don't like it in the future or you'd rather something else, it's super inexpensive and some great choices available online

I’m clutching at straws here, but you could board over the floor to raise it up? But again it’s a big job if the floor area is large.......I’m stumped too. How about porcelain floor tiles? They come in a huge range of styles including wood effect and stone effect. My sister has them in her new kitchen laid in a herringbone pattern and they look fab. Very tough and easy to clean.
