Comments (34)I agree with everything that's been said. I am looking for exactly the same sort of finish for a bathroom retrofit - going for a wet room. I did find this fabulous range in 'Champagne Bronze' finish: https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/collections/trinsic-bathroom-collection and- https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/T17T459-CZH2O BUT the (Canadian, I think) company do not deal with UK at all. The Yemen is on the list of countries where they have dealers, but not GB! I did email Delta Faucet but they never replied. You do see this range sometimes on eBay and Amazon. They are a bit pricey though and shipping costs are high, also my plumber cannot figure out if the range is compatible with our pipes/electrics/technicalities etcetc So, wake up UK plumbing companies!...See MoreNeed help in the hallway, please
Comments (3)If there is room then a console table with a big mirror above it and lamps or wall lights either side... a chandelier/ceiling lantern at base of stairs and on landing above on dimmers creates atmosphere.... a hall runner (natural rug company is good - you can custom make them) and a selection of pictures of your family in different sized frames and different quirky designs (ebay is good for this or antique markets) I think also looks fab randomly placed along the wall as you walk up the stairs... good luck and happy creating x...See MoreNeed help for my kitchen
Comments (22)There are kitchen companies that can replace the doors, plinths and end panels etc thus completely changing the colour of your kitchen but using existing units. One I know if is Dream doors which my neighbour used to go from dark wood to cream and I cannot tell they are the old units. I like your kitchen, the layout seems good. I feel whats making it feel a bit dated is the amount of orangey pine or similar wood. Even changing the door knobs would help. If you wanted a greater change, a handleless slab kitchen in either a matching cream as the aga, or a grey might work? Comments (16)Burgess Kitchens you just made me laugh! :-) I'm definitely a black black girl normally but in this case i'm leaning towards the tin man look (brushed steel tap and satin finish sink), not generally a good fashion look but hopefully the kitchen can pull it off!! I know both will look good but as Colourhappy and Forzaitalia mention I think the brushed steel option will be timeless. I genuinely can't believe how many things i have had to consider when choosing this kitchen, its mind blowing but thanks everyone for your input!...See More
