sheep skin rugs and carpet??

We are close to finishing our loft conversion and the colour scheme will be light grey, blush and copper with exposed brick wall. we have an ensuite but are in 2 minds about the flooring. ive already bought 2 large sheepskin rugs to go on a karndean wood flooring which will go in to the ensuite. my husband wants a sisal type carpet in 'Biscuit' which I really do not want but carpet might be a better option due to noise. But am wary that sheepskin rugs won't look right on carpet. HELP!!
