Green Bedroom ?
Hi all, I've just stripped the bedroom wallpaper off and under 3 layers of wallpaper I have discovered green walls probably from the 1950's. We have chosen Nina Campbell Barrington curtain fabric for roman blinds for the windows and we were going to paint the walls P&P Slate I or Slate III but now, seeing the green, I'm wondering if a shade of green might look amazing (not the current one though!) Any thoughts on green bedrooms with white wardrobes or shall I stick to greige? Thank you.

I have 3 of them here in different hues: grey-green (Squid Ink by Paper Library), blue-green (Inchyra Ball by F&B), and dark green (Symphony M439 by Tikkurila), which is not dissimilar to the Jotun colour you picked and available in the UK. Nb: I also painted the ceilings with the same colours. I find dark bedrooms so restful and appeasing. Comments (16)A dark green with a lot of grey in it, like the one you posted with the diagonal strips, would work well with that wood. Something like Green Smoke Farrow & Ball. I would avoid anything too bright and emerald as IMO it wouldn’t have a calm enough feel for a bedroom. 7 years agoMy bedroom is very bright as it leads onto a balcony with double patio doors - I'm considering a mossy green with golds but my friends think I've gone mad! I live first pic from internet with white shade - other pic actual room but not colour I'm doing it - used the dulux app to project colour but want to go darker green.

Thanks so much for all your helpful comments. Woke up this morning and still love the green! The room has a double aspect (south and west). Off to get French Grey, Ball Green, and Blue Grey paint samples today. Here's my room as it looked yesterday morning before the wall stripping. My only other concern is that I was considering painting the whole room in one pale colour as the walls are angled and I thought it would make the room look bigger. If I do go green I'll have to keep the ceilings white and I'd be cutting it off at the angles again. Oh what to do ....!!
