Can the lights be substituted with other led light bulbs

Yes, the bulbs can be swapped out for nearly any other bulb that has a E26 medium base socket as long as the replacement bulb doesn't draw more than 60w each. As for the colored light bulbs, were you looking for the same style as the ones that come with this light string or would you be open to other bulb shapes / styles (A19 for example)?

LED is very much the present and will be the only option in the future. Why install a outdated technology like halogen or incandescent lighting? LED has many advantages with different colour temperatures, very good colour rendering, variable angles of light and of course low running and maintenance costs. Its very much down to choosing the correct LED lighting for your project.

I think i'd be very tempted to paint the house in your chosen colour. Then when deciding upon the bulbs i'd get a couple of torches with either the daylight ( cool white ) bulbs and then alternative warm white and shine up on to the house to see what shade you prefer. After all, the lights will be on at night and you might find that the cool white / daylight bulbs are just too bright compared to the warm white. Cool white is the brighter white light, warm white is the the one with the yellowy tinge. Daylight bulbs are usually used indoors only and are high lumen output for those requiring daylight look inside. As for the angle, it's down to personal choice again, also, you may wish to consider what it's like to be inside with all those lights on shining at the house. Depending on your choice of window furnishings, you may not want all that light shining near the windows. Our next door neighbour has two either side of the door on their conservatory, we live in the middle of nowhere and it's quite dark. Their lights are so bright that we had to buy both blackout blinds and curtains for our back bedroom to stop the light coming in. We both grew up in the country and accept it for what it is, they on the other hand don't feel safe unless everything's lit up like a Christmas tree all year round. Neighbours eh?? They also moan about horse poo in the street and pigeons sitting on their fences...............I digress. !!

You have a very stylish kitchen, but it lacks light. Very lucky for those who have large bright windows in the house with a garden view. In such houses, there is always excellent natural lighting. I live in a rented apartment, and since I save on rent, my apartment is quite dark. The way out of the situation was the smart bulb, which can be configured depending on the wishes. My light bulbs adapt to the weather conditions and the amount of light in the room and create comfortable working conditions.

From my experience it’s most likely the wrong dimmer for the job. If your electrical has installed something that is not fit for purposes then don’t pay him until he has. If you later have problems then you will have to have him back but you might never need to.
